As a young girl, I always admired anything connected to fashion, make up, clothes, hair and modeling. I would set up salons for my parents, have modeling competitions with my friends and even give my friends haircuts! As I got older, I got taller and started to feel insecure about my height. As a middle schooler/ high schooler, I fantasized about being shorter because I just felt awkward and different. I avoided heels, boots and anything that made me taller. Yet, people would always ask me if I was a model and tell me that I should be. In the tenth grade, I realized I'm not getting any shorter, so I needed to be confident with who I am. Once again someone mentioned to me about getting into modeling, but this time I decided to try it and applied to work with a modeling coach. Since then I feel like modeling has given me a purpose. I have already been presented with many opportunities in a short period of time and I look forward to what might be ahead!
